Karing (Sownd Inc DBA Karing) builds and runs AI voice agents for healthcare organizations. This policy explains how we handle personal information from people who visit karing.ai and our other sites (book.karing.ai and careers.karing.ai), fill out our forms (including LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms and our job application), book a demo, or contact us.
What we collect
- Details you give us, such as your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, and anything you write in a form or message.
- Booking details, such as the time you choose and your answers to booking questions.
- Usage data, such as the pages you visit, the link that brought you to us, your device and browser, your approximate location from your IP address, and how you use our pages (clicks, scrolls and taps).
How we use it
We use this information to reply to you, schedule and run demos, review job applications, follow up about Karing’s services, improve our website, and learn which of our posts and ads are useful to people.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as scheduling, email, hosting, analytics and advertising tools, who must protect it. We may also share it when the law requires us to.
Cookies, pixels and analytics
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: sets cookies that let LinkedIn report to us, in totals, how our posts and ads lead to visits and demo bookings, and lets us show our ads on LinkedIn to people who visited. You can turn off this kind of ad targeting in your LinkedIn advertising settings.
- Google Ads tag and Google Analytics: set cookies that let Google report to us how people use our site and which of our ads lead to demo bookings. You can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity: shows us how visitors use our pages, such as clicks, scrolls and mouse movement, so we can improve them. It hides sensitive information, such as what you type into input fields. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
- Meta Pixel: when we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, it lets Meta report to us which ads lead to visits and bookings and show our ads to people who visited. You can manage this in your Facebook ad preferences.
These companies may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@karing.ai. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser and use the opt-out links above. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load our advertising tags or Microsoft Clarity. We do not otherwise respond to Do Not Track signals.
Visitors outside the United States
Our services are for US healthcare organizations. We do not load analytics or advertising tags for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
Children
Our sites are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete it.
Security
We protect personal information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards.
Patient health information
This policy does not cover patient health information that Karing handles for its healthcare clients. That information is governed by our agreements with those clients, including HIPAA Business Associate Agreements.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
