Terms

These terms apply when you use karing.ai, book.karing.ai and careers.karing.ai (the “sites”). The sites are run by Sownd Inc DBA Karing, a Wyoming corporation (“Karing”, “we”, “us”). By using the sites, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the sites.

The sites describe Karing’s services and let you contact us, book a demo and apply for jobs. Healthcare organizations that use Karing’s services sign a separate customer agreement and, where HIPAA applies, a Business Associate Agreement. Those agreements, not these terms, govern the services. If a customer agreement conflicts with these terms, the customer agreement controls.

The sites’ forms, booking pages and demo voice agent are for business inquiries and are not meant for patient health information, so please don’t send it to us through them. Patient information we handle for our clients is processed on our platform under our agreements with those clients.

You may use the sites for their intended purpose. You agree not to:

• break the law or anyone’s rights when using the sites;
• try to get unauthorized access to the sites, our systems or other people’s information, or interfere with how the sites work;
• copy or scrape the sites with bots or other automated tools, other than normal search engine indexing;
• upload viruses or other harmful code; or
• pretend to be someone else or give us false information.

We may limit or block access to the sites if we believe someone is breaking these terms.

The sites and their content, including text, graphics, video, logos and the Karing name, belong to Karing or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view the sites and share links to them. Don’t copy, change or use our content or brand for any other purpose without our written permission.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. We handle the information you share with us as described in our Privacy Policy.

The sites link to other websites and tools, such as our scheduling and video partners. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for them.

The sites and their content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content on the sites is general information, not medical, legal or other professional advice, and we may change it at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Karing won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the sites, and our total liability for any claim about the sites is limited to $100. This section doesn’t limit liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, and it doesn’t change any customer agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the sites or these terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and continuing to use the sites after that means you accept it. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part of these terms, that isn’t a waiver.

• What it is: When you talk with Karing’s voice agent, by calling (415) 513-4700 or by asking for a callback on karing.ai, you can ask it to text you more information. Karing (Sownd Inc DBA Karing) then sends one text with our website and a link to book a demo.
• How you opt in: Before sending, the agent asks: “Can I text the link to the number you’re calling from? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime.” We send the text only after you say yes. If you give a different number, the agent reads it back and sends only after you confirm. Calls may be recorded.
• Message frequency: One message per request. We never send recurring texts.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to stop. END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT also work. We send one final text to confirm, and you won’t get more texts from us.
• Help: Reply HELP, email hello@karing.ai, or call +1 (415) 513-4700.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: See our Privacy Policy at karing.ai/privacy, including how we handle your mobile number and text consent.
• Texts from your healthcare provider: if a healthcare provider texts you through Karing (for example, appointment reminders), those messages are covered by section 6 of our Patient Privacy Notice, not by this program.
